We decided that with this website we wanted to specialize in colonial costumes that were an important part of American history. As such, we choose a niche of colonial costumes for children with the hope that children wearing these costumes would learn more about our country than what is told in history books. The tough times these colonists went through and the many hardships endured should be remembered.

I believe and would like to see every child choose a colonial costume of some character in history and then have the parents take that opportunity to educate them in our country’s history and heritage. Schools can only go so far and all too often don’t place much importance on certain parts of our history.
